* a “London-Christmas Tree Tour” – Dec 2024

Posted on December 11, 2024 by Geoff Clements Posted in Art, Quirky Topics, Street Art, Streets .

In an effort to get into the festive spirit this year, my London Shoes did a bit of ‘tube-hopping’ the other night to check out just some of the wonderfully decorated Christmas Trees scattered throughout the ‘Smoke’ this year – and very enjoyable they are too.

I’ve done something a little bit different with the gallery of photos below – I’ve notated their location, so you know exactly where they are – but if in any doubt, the locations Shoes visited were:-

**Coal Drops Yard…….(ie the back end of Kings Cross Station to you and me)

**The Royal Exchange

**St. Pancras Station

**Covent Garden

**Harrods

**Leadenhall Market – (Gracechurch Street)

**Battersea Power Station – (tube station)

**Battersea Power Station

**The Gherkin…..(Bishopsgate)

**Mare Street – Hackney

**Pan Pacific Hotel…..(Bishopsgate)

There are plenty more Trees to be found out and about on the streets of London – but I messed up with the most famous one of all in Trafalgar Square – as its lights hadn’t officially been switched on, the night I went there!!!

Anyway – hope you enjoyed the photos – and hope they’ve helped get you into the Christmas vibe!!

    The “London Christmas Tree Tour” in December 2024 sounds like a fantastic idea! Exploring iconic locations like Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden, all decked out in festive lights, is the perfect way to soak in London’s holiday spirit. Can’t wait to see the magical displays this year!
